Sean & Christina /// Goleta, CA

Filed in: Uncategorized

From the onset of my arrival, Christina insisted that she wanted me not hide my creative expression when taking their photos and that they would be more than compliant with whatever direction I wanted to go. This much freedom so earlier was worse than a kid in a candy store…more like Christmas morning meets all the gifts you ever wanted and theres pancakes. With so much freedom and a great budgeted timeline, we set off.

One thing that stood out more than their love for eachother and creativity, but was their heart for those around them. There wasn’t a moment had that wasn’t filled laughter and joy. During our bride and groom photo time, Christina and Sean requested that we take a photo of them with a sign they made thanking the fire fighters who stopped the fire before it hit their wedding venue. The fire came so close that we actually had an opportunity to snap a few pictures in the ashes. Its interesting how destruction and devastation will often bring people together, even if they’ve never met. It exudes a feeling of gratitude and the menial stressors of the day seem to melt away.
